Patricia Dorsey

Patricia Anne Dorsey passed away July 13, 2025 in Colorado Springs, CO. She was born in Lorain, OH on April 17, 1947 to John and Phyllis (Hughes) Wilson.

Pat graduated from Lorain High School in 1965. She worked as an operator for the Lorain Telephone Company in Elyria, OH. She later moved to Ashland, OH and worked as a dental assistant. Pat joined the chapter of “Sweet Adelines” (female Barbershop singers) where she met her “husband to be” Wesley Dorsey, who was also a Barbershop Quartet singer. She continued barbershop singing with the Elyria, OH chapter as well as many others.

Pat and Wes were married in December 1972. Together, they enjoyed traveling and were able to tour both of their ancestral countries: England and Ireland.

Pat is survived by her husband, Wesley Dorsey of Canon City, CO; son, Christopher John Dorsey of Littleton, CO; granddaughters, Kristina and Abigail Dorsey also of Littleton, CO; and sister, Kathleen Wilson Macgregor of Sheffield Village, OH.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at 11a.m on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home: 1449 S. 9th St. Canon City, CO, followed by a reception.
