Patricia Ann Ownbey

Patricia “Pat” Ann Ownbey, 83, of Guffey, Colorado left us on September 17, 2021, to go be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Pat was born on February 5, 1938, in Denver, Colorado, and adopted by Walter and Verna Tracy.

Pat married John Francis “Frank” Ownbey in Canon City, Colorado where they had 3 children together. They were married 43 years before Frank passed away in 2002.

Mrs. Ownbey is survived by 2 children and a son-in-law. Her daughter, Bonnie (Nelson) Downs of Medina, Ohio; son, John (Michelle) Ownbey of Canon City, Colorado; and son-in-law, Dennis (LaVonda) Thompson of Melbourne, Florida. She is also survived by grandchildren, John, Brian (Courtney), and Valerie Downs, Andrew (Taylor) and Joshua Thompson, Veronica Mayoleth (Adam Cloyd), Anthony (Richelle) Ownbey, Robert (Kimmi) Rudnik, Ashley (Grady) Kiehl, and Jessica Ownbey; great-grandchildren, Jacelyn and AJ Cloyd, Jayda Hurley, Mason Rudnik, and Emerson Rose Downs.

Mrs. Ownbey was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Frank; sisters, Joann and Mozelle; and daughter, Susan.

Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 PM with Pastor Tom Schryver officiating at Four Mile Community Church (6503 County Road 11, Florissant, Colorado 80816).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may also be made to the Ownbey family through Holt Family Funeral Home (806 Macon Ave., Canon City, Colorado 81212).
