Rachel Elizabeth Garcia

Rachel Elizabeth Garcia (nee Campbell), born March 28th, returned home to the Lord on November 24th, at the age of 35, while surrounded by loved ones. Rachel was residing in Florence, Colorado at the time of her passing.
She was a proud graduate of FHS and attended Pueblo Community College and Seminole State College in Florida before studying cosmetology at Toni and Guy Hairdressing Academy. Rachel began her career as a skilled cosmetologist, where she honed her craft and built lasting relationships with clients. Later, she followed her passion for education and transitioned into the role of cosmetology instructor at Intellitec College, where she was known for her patience and encouragement. While her work was important, her greatest joys were the children in her life. Rachel was known for her kindness, gentle spirit, and support. She had a beautiful heart and loved her family and friends deeply. Rachel is survived by her parents Julie (Jesse) Garcia and Anthony Campbell (partner Connie Jennings), her sister Monica (Chandler) Cantley, and her nieces Charlotte and Haizley. She is also survived by her grandmother Miriam Bohlander and many loving aunts and uncles, cousins and dear friends. Also important in Rachel’s life are Leyla and Keyana Garcia and Corey Brewer. She is preceded in death by her Grandparents Paul Patterson, Audrey Patterson Latimer, and John Campbell Sr., and uncle Alan Patterson. Services will be held on Saturday, December 7th, at 1:00pm at Florence Bible Church located at 303 E. 3rd St. Florence, CO with reception to follow.
