Ramona Jean Jaquez, of Canon City, Colorado, passed away on 9/30/2024 in Canon City, Colorado at Progressive Care Center. She and her twin brother, Robert, were born on 8/1/1942 in Wichita, Kansas to Gaylen and Velma Karr McCandless. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, both of her brothers, Robert and Donald Karr, her husband Tony F. Jaquez, her son James Jaquez, her daughter Laura Shane, her grandson Jeremy Shane, and numerous aunts and uncles. Ramona is survived by her sons Terry and Tony Jaquez, her daughter-in-law Dee Jaquez, and very good friends Wanda, Don, Judy, Joy, and Shanna. Ramona worked for numerous motels and nursing homes throughout her life. She held memberships with several clubs like the V.F.W., Tops Club Inc., The Fraternal Order of Eagles, and The American Legion. She belonged to the Church of Christ in Canon City, Colorado. Ramona loved to play BINGO. At Ramona’s request, there will be no services, however, there will be a Memorial service scheduled at a later date. Please send all cards and condolences to:
