On Saturday, March 20th 2021, Richard Daniel Warner, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away at the age of 80, in Florence, Colorado. Richard was born February 14, 1941 in San Diego, California to Allen and Frances Warner. Richard never met a stranger and loved to tell everyone, family, friends and strangers included, all of his stories. He loved to shoot pool and would play for hours, “just practicing” he would say. Richard retired from Adams County School District 14 in 2014 after 25 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 41 years, Barbara; and his younger brother, Bobby. He is survived by his daughter, Keri Heitman-Warner (Royce); his grandson, Bobby Heitman-Warner (Amanda); great-granddaughter, Rhea Heitman-Warner; and great-grandsons, Loki Heitman-Warner and TJ Lipke.
The family would like to invite all who knew Richard to a Memorial Run on Saturday, April 3, at 1:15pm beginning at Centennial Park, and ending at the Green Parrot in Florence. Please come and share stories of Richard with the family.
