Riley Diana passed away October 16, 2024 in Canon City, CO. He was born August 24, 1950 to Anna and Alex Diana in Pueblo, CO. Riley was an artist: a talented painter, photographer and carver. He loved shooting and camping. He served as Director of the Pueblo Community Center, a psychologist for Colorado Department of Corrections, and he was the Owner/Operator of the historic Steinmeier Orchard in Southeast Canon City. As Director of the Pueblo Community Center Board, Riley’s inspiration and leadership in developing new pathways in the delivery of services, he influenced significant life changing opportunities within the intellectual and developmental disabilities community affecting the lives of hundreds of children and adults in Colorado. He was also an Eagle Scout and deeply loved his country.
Riley is survived by three sisters, Marybel (Tim) Schimberg, Alexis “Lexi” Williams and Ella (David) Williams; and his precious cat, Sammy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna and Alex. Riley had very strong family values and loved his niece and nephews.
