Roger Wendell Pennington

Roger Wendell Pennington, 61, of Cañon City, died September 9, 2023. He was born January 27, 1962, in Cañon City, Colorado, to Wendell A. and Barbara (Mayo-Giem) Pennington.

He spent most of his life being a mechanic and heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed playing music, gardening, doing artwork, and spending time in nature. He married his wife, Trish (Wonnell) Pennington on June 22, 1981.

Roger is survived by his wife: children; Leon (Olivia) Pennington and Natasha (Daniel) Clogston: his two grandsons: brothers; Lon and Cliff: sisters; Cheryl (Michael) Bergman and Wendy (Eric) Westfall: ten nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews, as well as countless cousins.

Cremation was handled by Holt Family Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., October 21, 2023, at Four Mile Community Club.
