Bob Kelly (d)), Wayne (d), Ila (d), Gene (d), Delmer (d), Wanda and Jana. Growing up on a farm, Roger learned the value of hard work. He graduated from Falcon High School and joined the Army. After he was honorably discharged, he went into building houses. In the 1960’s he started working at Black Forest Lumber and later became the owner. He retired in 2005. Roger was a beloved husband and father. He married Margaret McCreight on February 19, 1972, and they were happily married for over 52 years. Roger had 3 children: John (from first wife), Adam (Laura) and daughter Sarah. A devoted Christian, Roger was dedicated to serving the Lord and was active in the church and the community including the Black Forest Community Center, Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, and helping his neighbors. He loved gardening, cooking, fishing, playing games, and building with his hands. Roger always enjoyed being with his family as well as visiting relatives and friends. His family takes comfort in knowing that he is now with his Father in heaven.
