Roger Stephen Williams, 86, of Canon City, Colorado, passed away on January 22, 2024. He was born on December 13, 1937, in Illinois, the beloved son of Phoenix and Lucile (Kaltenbach) Williams.
Roger will be fondly remembered by his surviving spouse, Terry (Dunn) Williams, and his sister, Cynthia (Williams) Hollaway, along with her husband David. He is also survived by his children: Doug Williams, Dan Williams, Julie Peek and her husband Marty, David Williams and his wife Debbie, Jen Milliman and her husband Brad. Roger was a beloved grandfather (Papa) to David (Angela) Peek, Kyle Naylor and his wife Devyan, Onyx Peek, Keith Naylor, Taylor Milliman, Zach (Kalli) Peek, Madison Williams, and Jake (Amy) Williams. He is also survived by nephews Jason Hodge and children, John Hodge and children, and niece Carrie Hodge.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Phoenix and Lucile Williams, sister, Heather (Williams) Hodge, brother-in-law, Joe Hodge, in-laws, Theron and Margaret Dunn, and grandson, Matt Peek.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 2, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the VFW Post 4061 in Canon City, Colorado. Please stop by to share your memories and honor Roger's life.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Roger's memory to Sangre de Cristo Hospice, who treated Roger with the upmost dignity and respect while providing excellent care to Roger and his family in the most compassionate manner.
