Ruth Lydia (Groskopf) Hauschildt

Ruth L. (Groskopf) Hauschildt passed away on December 24, 2021, at Skyline Ridge Nursing Home in Canon City at the age of 94. Ruth was born in Brush, Colorado on February 9, 1927, to Henry and Katherine Groskopf.  She was married to Charles Hauschildt on June 1, 1951. 

She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Parker and Donna Kenney; 6 grandsons, Daniel (Tammy), Michael, Mathew (Emily), Christopher, Nicholas, and Timothy Kenney; 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Charles preceded her in death, along with her mother, mother-in-law, father, and father-in-law, as well as 4 brothers, 1 sister, Charles' family, and all spouses.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff at Skyline Ridge for their great care of Ruth. The family would also like to acknowledge the loving care shown to her great-grandmother by Brittaney Cornella. Your care of her was greatly appreciated by the entire family.

Services will be a private family burial.  The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Florence Senior Center in Florence, Colorado.
