Sandra “Sandi” Kay Fabrizio was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on March 29, 2021 at the age of 77.
She was born to Ray and Evelyn Shoemaker on March 14, 1944. Not long after graduating from high school Sandi moved to Denver with her two young children, Jeffrey and Marcia. A year later, she met her husband Robert and got married. In 1972, she was crowned Miss Ford Land Colorado in Denver, Colorado. She moved on from that to run our family restaurants and had two more children, Anthony “Tony” & Valynne.
Sandi loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals and desserts for her family. Neighborhood children would gather around the kitchen table for after-school snacks, while hanging out and listening to Elvis Presley, because that’s what Sandi was jamming to.
Sandi was a certified preacher and loved going to prisons, jails, nursing homes, and hospitals to introduce everyone who would listen about the power of prayer and the Lord. Sandi loved people and would always welcome everyone into her home to eat, congregate, do facials, have prayer circles and even get married. Most weekends were spent as a volunteer at the local church, supporting her communities and the people in it, however she could best serve.
Sandi will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Robert; children, Jeffrey (Kelle), Marcia, Tony (Lea), and Valynne. Sandi will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Doug, Jesse, Lindsey, Kyle, Zack, Skye, Star, and Nevaeh; by her sister, Sheri and numerous great-grandchildren.
