Steven Joseph Perez, Sr.

Steven Joseph Perez Sr., 73, of Pueblo, Colorado went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 23, 2020.  He was born in Colorado on January 11, 1947 to Jose C. and Victoria C. Perez. He was preceded in death by his father Jose C. Perez, mother Victoria C. Perez, first wife Judy D. Perez, second wife Karleen G. Perez and daughter Vicki E. Perez.  Survived by brother Jon, and his wife Jenny Perez; all of his loving children, son Joey Perez and his wife Nicole, son Duran Perez and his wife Shelly, daughter Leanna Montoya and her husband John, daughter Gina Baca and Jonathan Duran, and son John Pete Baca. Also survived by his loving grandchildren, Stephanie, Emily, Cataleya, Jordan, and Aidan; nephew Ricky Perez, special friends to include Benny Vigil, Chuey (Jesus) Rodriguez and an abundance of family and friends who all loved him.

Steven was a loving father and an amazing grandfather who loved with all of his heart. He was also a dedicated minister and friend to all, even if he just met you.  You were a stranger to him only once. He enjoyed family times, traveling, singing, worshiping the Lord and in his end days he enjoyed long conversations and playing dominoes. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.  

Steve will be laid to rest at Mountain Vale Cemetery in Canon City, Colorado on Friday, June 26 at 11:00 AM.  Memorial service to be announced at a later date.
