Susan Prom Obituary

Susan Kay Prom, 73, of Canon City, rode her horse into the Lord’s orange and blue sunset on May 14, 2022. Susan was born November 26, 1948, in Florence, Colorado.

Susan was raised and educated in Canon City. She loved caring for and riding her horses. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking and fishing. Susan was an avid life-long Denver Broncos fan.

Susan is survived by her daughter, Jolie White; sisters, Loy Bellis and Ann Watson; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Susan also is survived by her beloved dog, Buddy; and her kind neighbors at Canon Club Apartments.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents Leona and Ivan Acton, and her brothers, Terry and Curtis Acton.

Lord, please forgive me of all my sins

For I haven't been perfect

But I know that he who believes in You

Forever wins!

I have lived a good life

A cowgirl’s dream come true
