Teresa Marie Giordano

Teresa Marie Giordano of Canon City departed this world on May 4th, 2025 and is home resting with Jesus, awaiting her new resurrected body.   Teri was the 3rd born triplet to Robert Kent Price and Margaret Frances Evatz on August 25, 1959 at Fitzsimons Army Hospital in Aurora, Colorado.

Teri worked security for most of her adult life.  The majority of her career was at the Colorado Department of Corrections, where she retired after 19 years of service.  After retirement, she moved to Mesquite Nevada to work as a security officer, until she decided to move back home to Canon City in 2021. 

In her youth, Teri was an athlete who enjoyed playing softball, bowling, biking, golf, and even dabbled in boxing.  She especially loved to golf.  Her greatest golf story was her hole-in-one on #8 at Desert Hawk Golf Course on 7/08/2008.   

Teri’s pride and joy was her family and especially her granddaughters.  She loved to watch them perform, compete, and just to be in their presence.   She would also punctuate all of her granddaughters’ accomplishments by simply stating “you know where you get that from!".  She was fiercely proud and loyal.

Teri was preceded in death by her parents and her two triplet sisters Christina Price and Antoinette Parker.  

Teri is survived by her son Scott (Shana) Thorson of Canon City; her daughter Leslie (Chad) Thorson of Penrose; her granddaughters Breahnae Thorson, Thyrrni Thorson, Eleanor Thorson, Olive Thorson, Annika Adamic, Nora Adamic, Skadi Adamic; her brothers Robert Price, Shane Mirchoff, and numerous other cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 10:30am  Wednesday May 14th at St. Michael’s Catholic Church-1016 Mystic Ave, Canon City, CO  81212.
