Timothy Arthur Lewis, 73, of Pueblo, CO, passed away on January 5, 2025. Born on November 23, 1951, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, he was a devoted husband to Julie Lewis and a loving father to Jonathan (Jaimie) Lewis, Jennifererin (Thai) Dabney and his bonus children Shea (Nate) Greenlee and Chance Greenlee.
Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Reva Lewis. In addition to his wife and children, Timothy is survived by his siblings, Rhoda (Mike) Anderson, Thomas (Lillian) Lewis, Beth (Phillip) Gass and David Lewis, numerous grandchildren with whom he loved to laugh with and support, as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
Timothy’s journey in life took him from Iowa to California, Florida to Colorado, with many adventures in between. He valued hard work and determination, loud laughter and good conversations. He left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
There are too many stories of friendship & laughter & love to share in this space, so we would invite you to remember and hold tightly to your own experiences with our beloved Timothy Lewis. And we hope that when you do, you smile as broadly as he did.
Tim embraced the beauty of these words in Philippians 1:21: “For to me, to live is Christ! For He is my source of joy, my reason to live. And to die is gain! For I will be with Him in eternity.” (Amplified Bible)
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 2 pm at Pueblo First Seventh-Day Adventist Church on 3910 O’Neal Avenue in Pueblo, CO.
