Tina Ellis Obituary

Tina Ellis died August 18, 2020, in Penrose, Colorado.  She was born in Auburn, Washington on February 8, 1966.

Our mother was the type of person that told you like it was, she never sugar coated anything in life.  She welcomed everyone that came into her life with an open heart and arms.  She was loving, caring, funny, and stubborn but that made her the strong woman that she was and that everyone knew to love.  There was nothing more that she strived to be in life than the best mother and wife that she could possibly be.

Her favorite things and what she loved to do the most: cooking, camping, fishing, hiking, gardening, working on vehicles and being outdoors with the family.  Her favorite sports teams were the Green Bay Packers and the Denver Broncos.

She only liked the Broncos because they beat my team Green Bay Packers one time at a Super Bowl party we had, then they became her second favorite team and would rival me any time these teams played together.

She always said she felt like she had Angels all around her, watching over her.  You are now with your guardian Angel Roxy and you two have a lot to talk about and unlimited places to see together.  You deserve this peace and ambiance of a true eternal afterlife.  You were one of a kind like a diamond that shined so bright and lit up everyone’s life with a simple smile.  You once said to me,  “Don’t worry when I’m gone and don’t cry too long over me because I need you to be strong for me so you don’t miss the best things in life that are yet to come”.

You freed your mind and spirit, so now it is time for your body and soul to be set free as well.  We love you very much; you will be forever cherished by all and you will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Family members you left behind that love you dearly; spouse, Leonard; son, William; Daughter, Brandy; son-in-law, Tyler; daughter-in-law, Cassandra; granddaughters, Jayde,  Jennifer, and Brianna; grandsons, Tyler Jr., Kayden, Daniel, William Jr., and Thomas; stepdaughter, Susan; second mother Sharen; sisters, Beth, Debra, and Annie; nieces, Jessica, Ashley, and Gabby; nephews, Drew, Mason, and Jax.

This was written in honor of your beloved husband, and amazing son and loving daughter.
