Warren George Babilot

Warren George Babilot passed away on October 28th, 2022. Warren was born in New York City on April 8th, 1942. While living in New York, Warren married Liz, and together they moved to Canon City almost 40 years ago. He was active in numerous church ministries, including Coordinator of Liturgical Lectors and Religious Education Instructor.  Warren had a passion for teaching and a love of the English language.  He was a professor with Pueblo Community College for 30 years. He also loved the theater.  He was involved in local theater for more than 20 years: guiding, governing, creating, acting, coaching, but most often directing.  Warren is survived by three sons and two daughters who have surrounded him with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. His funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Catholic Church, in Canon City, at 9 a.m. on November 19, 2022.
