Wayne Coble

Wayne Edward Coble, 72, went to heaven on May 21, 2026 in Penrose, Colorado. He was born in Denison, Texas on January 8, 1954 to Clifton Coble Sr. and Peggy Jewel (John’s) Coble.

Wayne served in the United States Army for 20+ years. Towards the end of Wayne's military career, Wayne was in charge of Fort Carson's mounted Color Guard.

After the military, Wayne was able to fully retire into to his passion, the equestrian life: training, farrier, breeding and boarding, which Wayne truly enjoyed. It was his life for 30+ years, along with some of his other loves, such as cattle, metal work, gunsmithing, and other farming and ranching activities.

Anyone would tell you that Wayne Coble was a patriot of his country, the hardest working man that you had ever known, a true Horseman, one of the last real Cowboys.

Wayne was known for his wealth of knowledge, and many experiences in a vast number of topics. Wayne has led, directed, mentored and loved so many in his life. He was very transparent, honest, and direct, giving guidance and the brutal honest truth whether you wanted it or not. Wayne hoped and prayed for our country to come together, heal and make our country great again.

Wayne was very adamant about not having a funeral or a celebration of life. Wayne was okay with having a small gathering of like-minded friends and family, calling it the "Gathering Of The Minds" talking about horses, God, farming, ranching and the shortcomings of our government.
