William "Bill" Jones

William (Bill) Earl Jones, 65, of Canon City CO, passed away on February 13th, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. Bill was born on February 3, 1959 in La Junta, CO to Frank and Dorothy Jones.

In 1991, Bill met the love of his life Tammy and has lived happily ever since. Bill, known as Papa to those closest to him, touched many lives over the years. His legacy will not be forgotten.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Dorothy Jones; and brother, Frank Jones. He is survived by his siblings and their families, Fred Jones (Fran) of Del Norte, CO, Suzanne Jones McDonald (Donald) of La Junta, CO, Allen Jones (Sharon) of La Junta, CO, Maria Jones of McClave, CO; his children, Richard Henry William Jones, BillieJo Carleen Jones Chavarria (Charles), Amber Belcher, Rangle Gayle Jones (Amanda), Brandi Jones Jimenez (Alejandro); grandchildren, Gavin, Liam, and Madison of Canon City, CO, Carlee, Cameron, Chase of Hilliard, FL, Evan, Erik, Ellianna of Franklin, NE, Josh, Matt, Caiden, Michael, Jaxon of Canon City, CO, Ariah, Gianna, and Ava.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Vineyard Church in Canon City, CO, April 5, 2024 at 2pm. All family and friends are invited. In lieu of flowers, the family requests monetary donations be made to Holt Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
