William L. Smith

William “Bill” Smith, age 79, of Canon City Colorado passed away peacefully on May 21st, 2020.  He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 36 years Shirley Smith.
He was born on August 1st 1940 in Boone Colorado, where he lived until he was a teenager.  He then moved to Pueblo where his career as a mechanic would begin at Pueblo Brake and Clutch.

He loved his animals dearly and had 3 or more throughout his entire life.
His hobbies included tinkering with his train collection, fishing in the great outdoors and “fixing” everything he owned so he could he could make it work better.

He is survived by his children Linda (Jon) Marsh, Ray (Giusy) Montgomery, Glenn Smith and Pam (Aldy) Germ, numerous grandchildren and many close friends.

At his request no service will be held.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of Sangre De Cristo Hospice Center for their compassion and support during his final days.

Dad you will be missed greatly and we will always carry your memory in our hearts.
