Going Home
Wilma “Mustang” Hoskins
January 16, 1941 – April 18, 2020 @ 1:45 am
Mustang leaves us on the 18th day of April 2020, headed for his eternal glory. Mustang took his last breath in Canon City, Colorado with family by his side.
Mustang grew up in Deland, Florida where many knew him as Bealer to this day, and attended Euclid High School. He went on to Lane College in Tennessee where he played football. He enjoyed music and dancing and was very outgoing. He married Doris Hoskins his childhood sweetheart and moved the family to Detroit where he worked as a brick and block mason.
He leaves behind his three daughters; Gwendolyn and Cynthia Hoskins, Latwania Williams of Deland, Florida, his two sons; Wilbert Hoskins Jr. of North Carolina and Jeffery Yarbrough of Canon City, Colorado, 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren, two half-sisters; Patricia Blancos and Pamela Hamilton, three nieces; Lavette, Beverly and Regina Sampson, along with lots of cousins and close friends. He will be missed by many.
